Bootloader vs Operating System Architecture
A router's flash memory is divided into distinct partitions: Bootloader (U-Boot/CFE), Environment variables (NVRAM), Factory calibration (ART/EEPROM containing MAC and Wi-Fi radio power tables), and Kernel/Rootfs (Firmware). A bad firmware flash corrupts only the Kernel/Rootfs partition; the Bootloader and Factory partitions remain intact.

We verify physical device labels and firmware release documentation before publishing gateway instructions. Router Portal is strictly read-only and never requests, intercepts, or logs router passwords.
