Credential directory

Default router usernames and passwords directory

Look up factory admin credential status and possible login addresses by exact model—without submitting a password.

Safety boundary: Use these instructions only for a router or network you own or are authorised to manage. Never enter a router password, Wi-Fi password, SSID, serial number or private network data into Router Portal.
Important: Default admin credentials are not a Wi-Fi password and are not universal. Model, revision, firmware, region, ISP and previous setup can change the result.

How to use the directory

  1. Read the exact model and revision.
  2. Match the row and open the official source.
  3. Use only the status that matches your device.
  4. If it fails, stop guessing and use the label/manual/ISP.

Admin password versus Wi-Fi password

The admin password opens settings; the Wi-Fi password joins the network. A label may show both, one or a generated value. Never paste either into this site.

If a default fails

Check label/revision, confirm the gateway, use safe recovery and read the reset warning. Reset is a last resort.

Frequently asked questions

Does every router use admin/admin?

No. Some use label-generated, first-run, ISP-managed or undocumented credentials.

Will this include every router?

Only source-verified models that can be maintained accurately; “all routers” is not a safe claim.

Are all IP addresses listed?

No. Only common router-management addresses and model-specific hostnames.
